What is Canape?

• Canape is a type of hors d' oeuvre.
• Canape may be defined as bite-size open-faced sandwiches.

The Concept of Canapes Creation

• Freshly make (close with serving hour).
• Good quality ingredients.
• Delicious Taste.
• Attractive color combination.
• The texture must melt in the mouth. 
• The best size is bite-size or two-bite sizes are still acceptable.
• 3 parts of the canape must be used in canape creation.
• The serving tray must be clean, simple shapes and beautiful edible decoration on it (fruit or vegetable carving or edible flower).
• Avoid overload platter, its better plating in smaller batches and replenish them often with freshly made canape.
• The theme of the event as an inspiration to create your canapé menu.
